How does the treatment work?
BodySculp has 4 separate handpieces that each contain a diode laser which heats the skin to a therapeutic level, resulting in fat destruction. The cooling component keeps the skin safe and comfortable during the entire 30-minute treatment.
What is the treatment protocol?
We recommend 4 treatments every 3 to 4 weeks. Each treatment takes about 35 minutes. (10 minutes for set up of the device and 25 minutes with the device running). The device can treat up to 4 areas at one time..
What is expected after the treatment?
After the treatment, there might be tenderness or stiffness in the area that was treated. It is unlikely, however, some patients may experience bruising in the area. If this occurs, we recommend a light massage of the area.
Patients often notice a result after about 6 weeks. Maximum results may take up to about 12 weeks. Once a series of 4 treatments are complete, maintenance treatments can be performed to provide more of a reduction.
