A source of smooth skin
Sculptra Aesthetic works with your body to help rebuild lost collagen
Sculptra Aesthetic works with your body to help rebuild lost collagen and restore a naturally refreshed appearance over time.
Unlike traditional cosmetic dermal fillers that target specific wrinkles, lines, and folds, Sculptra Aesthetic helps stimulate your skin’s own collagen production to gradually replenish lost facial volume. By addressing one of the underlying causes of aging skin, Sculptra can improve skin texture, tone, and firmness for smoother, more youthful-looking results.
This collagen-stimulating treatment is designed for patients who want subtle, natural-looking facial rejuvenation rather than an instantly “filled” appearance. Over a series of treatments, Sculptra Aesthetic helps restore volume, soften the look of facial wrinkles, and support healthier-looking skin with long-lasting results.

What results can be expected?
Subtle improvement in lines and wrinkles will occur within the first couple of months of treatments, with a maximum result at five months. A total of 2 vials of the product can be injected at one session, and results are evaluated every two months to determine if more product is needed. Overall results last about two years.
Can Sculptra Aesthetic be combined with other filler products?
Sculptra Aesthetic can be also be used in combination with other hyaluronic acids (HA) fillers such as Restylane for a more refined appearance.
Benefits of Sculptra Aesthetic include:
- Replaces collagen: the injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) begins working within the deep dermis to replace lost collagen and reinforce skin structure.
- Restores volume: as the microparticles of the PLLA are absorbed, a collagen framework is provided to restore volume gradually.
- Refines fine lines: results show smoothing out of shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds for a more refined appearance.
What should patients expect during treatment?
The process is similar to any other facial injection in which the product is injected into the area to be treated. Slight swelling of the area is noticeable due to the amount of fluid used to disperse the actual product but subsides within 12 hours. Patients are advised to massage the area for 1-2 minutes 3-4 times a day for about three days following the treatment. The treatment area may be tender, but massaging is still recommended. A light lotion or moisturizer can be used to assist with movement on the skin.
