Who is a candidate for laser hair reduction?
Any skin type, even tanned skin, can be treated with one of our lasers: the 1064nm YAG or 810 Diode lasers. Skin cannot be exposed to any sunlight for at least two weeks before and after treatment. Waxing should be avoided for six weeks before treatments as well, so the hair follicles are intact for the first treatment. Pregnant or nursing moms cannot have laser hair removal.
How often are treatments conducted?
Every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended as long as the hair is visible. For maintenance, treatments can be spread out for more extended periods.
What is the treatment protocol?
The area to be treated should be shaved the day before treatment, and it should be free of lotions or deodorants. The entire area is treated for each session and should be repeated every 4 to 6 weeks to ensure the correct growth cycle is targeted each time. Packages of 4 are available at a discounted cost.
