How does the treatment work?
The BodyTone uses bio-electric energy pulses to exercise different muscle groups and prevent muscle atrophy. It twists, flexes, and contracts specific muscle groups to simulate a heavy workout… about 20,000 muscle contractions within 30 minutes! In most cases, the BodyTone creates a 30% increase in muscle development.
What is the treatment protocol?
We recommend 2 treatments once a week for 6 sessions total. Each treatment takes about 30 minutes. Depending on the areas being treated, 2 areas may be treated at one time. Maintenance treatments are recommended for continued muscle strength and definition. Final results are generally visible around 6 weeks after the last treatment, but tighter muscles may be noticed after just one session!
What is expected during and after the treatment?
As the treatment begins, patients feel a contraction sensation in the targeted muscles. The isn’t any pain associated with this treatment, however, the contractions can get intense. The intensity can be reduced depending on the patient’s sensitivity.
After the treatment, there may be soreness experienced in the muscle groups treated, however, this usually subsides within 72 hours. It will feel similar to after a heavy workout! Luckily there is no downtime, so you can continue normal activities immediately after.
