Stimulate your own collagen + elastin naturally

Microneedling is a process that uses a pen shaped device that punctures tiny needles into the epidermal layer of the skin which allow product to penetrate deeper and work more effectively. In addition, the skin that is treated kicks into wound healing mode, and in turn, coaxes new, healthy skin cells (fibroblasts) to create new collagen. The result is overall skin tightening and improved texture and tone. It is ideal for acne scarring!

The beauty of microneedling is that it can be combined with other applications such as exosomes, PDRN and PRP (Plasma Rich Platelet) for maximum healing and rejuvenation benefits.

Got thinning hair? PRP or exosomes microneedled directly into the scalp is an extremely effective way to stimulate hair growth and increase hair thickness.

The benefits of microneedling are:

  • Minimizes the appearance of pores
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
  • Lifts, tightens and rejuvenates the skin
  • Improves the appearance of stretch marks
  • Minimizes acne scarring
  • Reduces the appearance of traumatic scars
  • Lightens pigmentation

How does microneedling work?

Our pen system utilizes 12 precisely spaced microneedles which create tiny vertical perforations into the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin. By creating a slight injury to the skin in a gentle way, the skin repairs itself by stimulating collagen and elastin. The end result is tighter and healthier-looking skin. In addition, serums, PRP or exosomes can be applied before and after microneedling to encourage deeper penetration of high-quality ingredients.

What is involved in the procedure?

The patient is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied to the areas that will be treated. A new, disposable sanitized needle tip is used for every treatment, and the settings are adjusted on the pen according to the skin type, condition and area being treated. The level of intensity will vary throughout the treatment based on the sensitivity of specific areas (for instance, around the eyes, the setting is reduced). Each treatment takes about 40 minutes.

What levels are available?

There are various levels available to enhance the overall result of microneedling.

Bronze: Peptide glide serum is used during to ease the action of the micro needles

Silver: Silver exosomes are applied during and after to increase healing time and stimulate more collagen + elastin

Gold: Blend of PDRN, HA + Glutathione

Black: Black exosomes are applied during and after to increase healing time and stimulate more collagen + elastin

Platinum: PDGF (Pure platelet derived growth factors)

What is the post-op care?

Most patients look as though they have a moderate sunburn, and skin will feel warm. These symptoms begin to resolve within a couple of hours and will be recovered in 24 hours. A mild cleanser and moisturizer are recommended post-op. We also recommend using the breathable foundation, Oxygenetix, to assist in the healing of the skin while protecting it. Treatments are recommended every month for 3 to 5 times for maximum results.

What about PRP (plasma rich protein) and microneedling?

Yes, this is an option. A certified nurse will draw your blood and extract the healthiest part of the blood called plasma using a centrifuge. The healthy plasma is applied to the treated area post microneedling, so it absorbed down deep into the open channels from the microneedled skin. Another option is to inject the healthy plasma into areas of the face and/or scalp (for hair restoration). Since PRP is a natural substance from your own body, there is no risk of allergies or hypersensitivity.
